The Basma Hotel is a friendly and relaxing hotel that offers good value for money. The hotel has the advantage of having amazing views of both the city and the River Nile, from its situation on Aswan’s highest hill. The interior is based on bright Nubian colours and has a collection of Nubian paintings and artwork by Egypt’s artists.
All of the 210 rooms and suites have balconies and are comfortably furnished. The hotel's Mediterranean gardens are well established providing a quiet oasis to relax in.
There are many dining options to choose from, international and Egyptian buffet style or a la carte. You can even have a go at baking your own bread for lunch in a traditional clay oven. Enjoy a relaxing day by the pool or take an excursion to the Botanical Gardens where you can enjoy a gentle stroll amongst the lush flora of the gardens. Or visit Aswan souk for a spot of shopping.
