The 5* Intercontinental Hotel is located on Hurgharda Bay and is set in landscaped gardens with its own private sandy beach, marina and large outdoor swimming pool with terraces and shaded areas.
The 252 guest rooms including 15 suites are spacious with modern comfortable furniture and well-appointed. Family and disabled rooms are available on request. Dining options include Palm’s Brasserie serving local and international cuisine buffet style for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Al Dente serving Italian cuisine and Fish Market, overlooking the marina, serving fresh fish and Middle Eastern dishes for lunch and breakfast. The Captain’s Bar has regular evening entertainment, drinks and cocktails and the hotel nightclub the Dome is in a separate building on the grounds.
A wide range of recreational facilities are on offer from the large swimming pool with children’s section, regular daytime activities and horse riding. The Aqua water sports centre offers windsurfing, snorkelling and parasailing. Scuba-diving courses and equipment hire are available from the PADI Dive centre. In a separate building within the hotel grounds is a Leisure Club with fully equipped gym, sauna, Jacuzzi and steam rooms together with tennis and squash courts.
