The trips were extremely well organised and our guide, Marco was absolutely excellent. He was very knowledgeable but entertaining at the same time. He took care of our excursions with professionalism and care but was humorous as well which made everything so much more enjoyable.
Cairo/Alameen/Siwa Oasis/Cairo
ITINERARY- 8 DAYS
Day 1
Arrive at Cairo International Airport, meet, assist and transfer to hotel.
Overnight in Cairo.
Day 2
After breakfast, drive to Alameen for a visit to the World War II Museum which reveals the roles of Germany, Italy, and Great Britain during the war. Drive to Siwa Oasis passing by Marsa Matrouh.
Overnight in Siwa hotel.
Day 3
After breakfast, visit the Old City of Siwa (Shaly) and continue for a visit to the Dead Mountain which is famously known as Gabel El Mouta. Continue our journey to Abu Sherouf, being one of the Siwa villages and famously known as the place to enjoy a Bedouin lifestyle, the Roman Spring Eye and local handicrafts.
Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 4
After breakfast, drive to visit the Temple of Alexander, Cleopatra Bath, and the Temple of Aghormi which is dedicated to the God Amon in the 26th Dynasty. After lunch, continue our tour with a visit to Siwa House Museum.
Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 5
After breakfast, drive to visit Abu Ali Desert Village, to the tomb of Alexander the Great. Continue to one of the Spring Eyes in the middle of the desert. After lunch there is an opportunity to try your hand at sand surfing in the desert before going for a swim in the cold Spring Eye. Continue to another Spring Eyes - the hot Spring Eye.
Return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 6
After breakfast, drive back to Cairo. Overnight at a Cairo hotel.
Day 7
Day at leisure.
Day 8
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Cairo international Airport for your departure flight.
