All the pick ups and transfers to and from the airports were impeccable, we had no hassle or stress and the transfers guys were helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them.
Abu Simbel/Aswan
ITINERARY - 4 DAYS
Day 1
Arrival in Abu Simbel to board the boat. Lunch on board, visit the Abu Simbel temples including the temple of Ramses II and his beloved wife Nefetari. A welcome cocktail will be served during the Sound & Light show at Abu Simbel temple, followed by a candlelit dinner on board and overnight.
Day 2
For those who would like to watch the spectacular sunrise at Abu Simbel, please enjoy an early morning visit to the temples. Breakfast is served while sailing to Kasr Ibrim. During the Pharaonic period, this hill was dominated by a citadel and the summit of the hill was dominated by a cathedral which still has Roman arches. Lunch will be served while sailing to Amada, visit the temple of Amada of the XVIIIth dynasty, built during the reign of Thohotmosis III, Amenophis III and Thohtmosis IV. Visit the Hemi-Spocs of Derr, dedicated by Ramses II to the rising sun and the tomb of Penout, Viceroy of Nubia. A relaxing afternoon sail to Wadi El Seboua.
Day 3
Morning visit to Wadi El Seboua. The temple of Wadi El Seboua dedicated by Ramses II to the Two Gods Amon Ra and Ra Harmakis, the Temple of Dakka, dedicated to the God Thot of divine wisdom, lord of times and science, master of literature. Visit the Greco-Roman temple of Maharakka.
Sail to Aswan while dining and overnight on board.
Day 4
Disembarkation after breakfast. Visit the Kalabsha temple with its Pharaonic aspect, remodelled into the Greco-Roman style and dedicated to the God Mandoulis. Visit the Hemi-Speos of Beit El Wali, erected by Ramses II in the beginning of his reign, built to honour the Goddess Isis.
